Class 1 Leading Rein Jumping Approx 1ft

Class 2 Mini Mini Jumping Approx 1ft 6in.  May be led or assisted 

Class 3 Mini Jumping No more than 2ft.  May be assisted but not led

Class 4 Novice Jumping Fences up to 2ft 3in

Class 5 Senior Jumping Fences up to 2ft 6in

Class 6 Horse and Hound Round of small fences to be jumped by pony and then small fences to be jumped with dog.  Fastest clear round wins 


Class 7 First Ridden Pony 13.2hh and under

Class 8 Best Rider a. 9 years and over (unled) b. 8 years and under (unled) c. lead rein

Class 9 Lead Rein Pony a.Rider 3 years and under (walk only) b. Rider 4 years and over

Class 10 Pony Club Pony To give a short individual show

Class 11 Veteran Horse/Pony (to be aged 16 years or over)

Class 12 NO CLASS


Class 13 Leading Rein Working Hunter Pony to jump a very small course approx 1ft

Class 14 Working Hunter Pony to jump a course up to 2ft 3in a.13.2hh and under b. over 13.2hh

Class 15 Mini Working Hunter Pony to jump a course up to 1ft 9in (may be assisted but not led)

Start 2pm

Class 16 Fancy Dress Rosettes to all competitors. Entry £4

Class 17 Chase me Charlie starting at 6in and increasing each round. Entry on the day £4

Followed by GYMKHANA Rosettes to all. 

Entry at ringside. £2 per race or £7 for 4.

These events will be held in 3 sections:

  • Lead Rein
  • unled
  • Adults.

Each section will have 4 events: Bending, Cup Race, Corners, Ride and Run


Clear Round Jumping

Entry at ring side. £2 per round or £5 as many times as you wish!



1. All competitors must wear correct riding attire and all persons riding in the arenas / showground must wear correct riding hats to a minimum standard BS4472

2. The decision of the judges is final.

3. No refund of entry monies can be made unless a medical or veterinary certificate is produced.

4. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the event, alter the order of the classes, combine classes or split classes according to the number of entries.

5. All dogs must be kept on leads

6. Neither the landowner nor the organiser accepts liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.

7. Please could competitors ensure that all horse and personal rubbish is cleared up before leaving.
